There are nine game modes in total (see below for more about these) and an active Esports scene in which teams compete in professional tournaments and leagues. With only forty seconds until detonation and a full five seconds need to defuse the threat, it can be quite exciting. The basic mode of the game starts with the terrorists trying to plant a bomb while the counter terrorists plan to stop them by preventing the placing of the bomb, rescuing their hostages or defusing the bomb if the terrorists do manage to plant it. In this game, you will play out scenarios which pit two teams against one another: Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists battle against each other to achieve their targets.
